YEAR-BY-YEAR BREAKDOWN OF 248TH PICK IN THE NFL DRAFT:

  • 2024 C.J. Hanson:

    Drafted out of Holy Cross, Hanson appeared in one game in his rookie season with the Chiefs and remained a member of the active roster for the entire season for the AFC Champions, playing in their final game as the team rested a number of players with the top seed already secured.

  • 2023 Brandon Hill:

    Hill saw action in two NFL games during his rookie season in 2023 with the Houston Texans after being selected out of Pittsburgh. Hill was placed on IR ahead of the 2024 season and did not play during the season.

  • 2022 Andre Anthony:

    An Edna Carr alumnus selected out of LSU, Anthony never saw the field during the regular season after spending time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears. Anthony was named the head coach at Bonnabel High School on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025.

  • 2021 Will Fries:

    Fries played in 41 games, 31 starts, playing several positions along the offensive line for the Indianapolis Colts after his selection from Penn State. Fries signed with the Minnesota Vikings after entering free agency ahead of the 2025 season.

  • 2020 Sam Sloman:

    Sloman made appearances in eight games and hit 10 of his 13 (76.9%) field-goal attempts as well as 23 of 26 (88.5%) of his extra-point attempts during games with the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans. Sloman also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers after his selection from Miami (Ohio).

  • 2019 Joshua Miles:

    After he was drafted from Morgan State, Miles has played in 18 contests with the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants over three seasons. Miles has also spent with the Atlanta Falcons and signed with the Chicago Bears ahead of the 2025 season.

  • 2018 Kendall Donnerson:

    Donnerson never made a regular season appearance after he was selected from Southeast Missouri State. He spend time with the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers and spent part of 2021 training camp with the Saints.

  • 2017 Keion Adams:

    Adams spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants, but did not see game action after his selection from Western Michigan.

  • 2016 Austin Blythe:

    After he was selected by the Indianapolis Colts from the University of Iowa, Blythe would find his was to the field, appearing in 92 games including 66 starts with the Colts, Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks before retiring in 2023.

  • 2015 Ryan Murphy:

    Murphy spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos, before seeing three games of action with the New York Giants in 2017 after his selection from Oregon State University.
